Yes, in addition to in-person visits at the clinic, sessions are also available via video and phone. Contact the clinic to book the option that suits you best.
Treatment is offered from the age of 16. For children under 16, please contact child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP).
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For Region Skåne patients, late cancellations or missed appointments are charged SEK 400, which is twice the patient fee. This charge is not included in the high-cost protection scheme and also applies to patients with an exemption card (frikort). Private patients are charged the ordinary fee of SEK 1,400.

Treatment duration varies depending on the issues and individual needs. Within Region Skåne’s psychotherapy healthcare choice programme, treatment may include a maximum of 16 sessions. Up to 23 sessions may be offered for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Private treatment is planned according to individual needs. An assessment and treatment plan are made together at the first appointment.

If you experience persistent low mood, anxiety, sleep difficulties, stress or other symptoms affecting your daily life, it may help to speak with a psychologist. A doctor or psychologist at the health centre where you are registered can issue a referral after an assessment.
